Setting up AWS CLI on a windows machine
AWS CLI in a Windows PC
Am back after a looooong break :-).
Cloud adoption is becoming inevitable in every industry , with that being said, there are 4 major
- Amazon Web Services
- Microsoft Azure
- IBM Cloud
- Google Cloud Platform
Of All these , AWS is leading the industry. The resources in AWS can be accessed/managed through AWS web console pretty much, but AWS CLI offers more control in a command line for power users, This document focusses on how to set up AWS CLI(Command Line Interface) to control your AWS resources.
- Download and Install the interface from https://s3.amazonaws.com/aws-cli/AWSCLI64.msi
- Goto Run->Command Prompt->AWS help to verify if the installation is successful
- >aws configure, provide the login credentials to access AWS, if you don't know the credentials, please follow the steps below
Open the IAM console. In the navigation pane of the console, choose Users. Choose your IAM user name (not the check box). Choose the Security credentials tab and then choose Create access key. To see the new access key, choose Show. Your credentials will look something like this:
Access key ID: AKIAIOSFODNN7EXAMPLE Secret access key: wJalrXUtnFEMI/K7MDENG/bPxRfiCYEXAMPLEKEY To download the key pair, choose Download .csv file. Store the keys in a secure location.Keep the keys confidential in order to protect your AWS account, and never email them. Do not share them outside your organization, even if an inquiry appears to come from AWS or Amazon.com. No one who legitimately represents Amazon will ever ask you for your secret key.
Those guidelines additionally worked to become a good way to recognize that other people online have the identical fervor like mine to grasp great deal more around this condition. . aws training in chennai
